The Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) warmly extends heartfelt Eid Mubarak greetings to our dear Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria and beyond.
As the crescent moon shines once again upon this sacred season of sacrifice, devotion, mercy, and gratitude, may your homes be filled with peace, your hearts strengthened with hope, and your families abundantly blessed with joy, divine favour, good health, and prosperity.
Eid is not merely a celebration; it is a reminder that faith, sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and obedience to higher principles are the foundations upon which great societies are built. Like the dawn that breaks after a long night, may this season renew our collective hope for a better Nigeria.
Our nation is passing through one of the most difficult and defining moments in its history. Across the land, millions of Nigerians are burdened by hardship, insecurity, economic pain, and uncertainty about the future. Yet even in the midst of these storms, we must not surrender to despair. For history teaches us that the darkest nights often precede the brightest mornings.
As the critical 2027 general elections gradually draw near, this season should inspire all Nigerians to reflect deeply on the kind of nation we wish to build and the kind of leadership we must support. We must rise above division, bitterness, and work together towards producing leaders who will govern with competence, compassion, accountability, justice, and respect for the rule of law.
Nigeria must become a nation where leadership is a sacred responsibility, not a business venture; where truth is honoured, not mocked; where the peopleβs welfare stands above personal ambition; and where justice flows like a river across every tribe, faith, and region.
May this Eid strengthen the bonds of unity among Nigerians and rekindle our shared commitment to peace, progress, and national transformation.
Eid Mubarak! π
