CPO Sympathises with the People of Mantau Village, Malumfashi LGA, Katsina State Over the Killing of Worshippers During Subhi (Morning) Prayer.
The Coalition for Peter Obi Support Groups (CPO) expresses deep grief and outrage at the horrific killing of innocent worshippers in Mantau Village, Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, where nearly over 30 lives were brutally cut short while performing the sacred Subhi (morning) prayers.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the families, friends, and the entire community affected by this unspeakable tragedy. This barbaric act is not only an assault on human life but also a direct attack on faith, peace, and the values that bind Nigerians together.
CPO condemns this heinous crime in the strongest possible terms. The recurring bloodshed across our nation is unacceptable, and the persistent failure of authorities to protect innocent citizens raises serious concerns about governance, accountability, and leadership.
We call on the Federal Government, security agencies, and all relevant authorities to go beyond empty promises and take urgent, decisive measures to:
Protect lives and secure communities.
Dismantle the terror networks behind such atrocities.
Ensure that the perpetrators of this massacre are swiftly brought to justice.
Nigeria cannot afford to normalise the killing of its citizens while leaders remain silent or indifferent. Enough is enough.
As we mourn these precious souls, we pray for the Almighty to grant strength and solace to the bereaved families, and healing to the wounded community of Mantau Village. We stand in full solidarity with the people of Katsina State and with all Nigerians who continue to live under the threat of insecurity.
May the departed rest in eternal peace, and may this tragedy serve as a rallying call for justice, security, and accountability across our beloved nation.
